After being trapped at 15 feet depth in a hundred feet abandoned borewell two year old , Anamaluru Chandra Sekhar was rescued safely on intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. A large scale rescue operation which was taken up by Police, Fire, Revenue and NDRF teams for around 12 hours ended successfully and Chandrasekhar who was stuck in borewell was rescued safely without a single injury. Rescue operation which started at around 5:20 pm on Tuesday was almost done by 9:50 pm where rain created and obstacle initially and it was a huge limestone boulder which created problems for the team. Huge hydraulic drills were then brought into operation and officials have almost worked for four hours to create a hole to borewell and boy was rescued safely at around 2:30 am on Wednesday. A team of doctors examined the boy and declared that boy not injured but was only dehydrated. Parents of the boy thanked officials and NDRF for their efforts in bringing out boy alive. “We lost all our hope and it was district officials who gave support to us and prayers of crores of Telugu people who prayed for my son have save him,” says Anusha mother of Chandu.
